Where Were The Spanish Players in Euro 2008 Finals??

Two players showed up for Germany, the ever dependable Michael Ballack and Bastian Schweinsteiger,. They were the only two German players who were doing their best to win the game. Ballack was especially commendable, considering he was initially doubtful for the final.
For Spain, they were not only showcasing their silky passing skills, which has been a hallmark of their successful campaign, they also demonstrated the best way to win is by playing team football. Simply put, I could not see anyone particularly outstanding for Spain because they were playing such breathtaking team football!

Power Of Beliefs

We must heard the above quote for the umpteenth time. For once, lets try to examine the validity of the statement.
We all have choices. Nobody can realistically say they are forced to do something against their will, unless someone points a gun to your head.
Now suppose i ask you to choose to believe in something. For e.g, suppose you are playing a game of soccer, and by virtue of your speed, you are alone in front of the goalpost with no one in front of you, not even the opposing keeper. Facing an empty goal, about 10 yards away from you, how would you attempt to score your goal?
Suppose you might have missed several open goals immediately before this, and your confidence level have taken a beating, how would you attempt to strike this time? Would you hit it with a firm powerful shot, or would you attempt to roll it into the net by side-footing it? Chances are, not only will you side-foot the ball to goal but you might even go much closer to the goal before you attempt to do so! Read more

There are several factors that contributed to Portugal’s loss.

I was a little tired and tried to keep myself awake by blinking my eyes. Little did i realized that the comfortable distance between me and the cars in front had gradually disappeared. In the next moment when i open my eyes, i found myself at the start of the corner, with one red Mazda 3 only about three m in front of me!
I was a little lost and my first reaction was to stare at the bumper of the red Mazda 3 in disbelief. I braked hard, but i still find myself getting closer to the bumper! My heart was pounding, and i swear i could feel those cold sweat trickling down my spine. With about one meter away Read more
